Pappa Roti (coffee buns)❤
Ingredients.
Maida (flour) 500 grams
Salt 1tsp
Egg 1
Yeast 2tsp
Butter 2tbs
Milk 1cup warm
Brown sugar2 1/2 tbs
Butter in small cubes frozen 10.
Method.
Make dough with these ingredients except frozen butter cubes.
Make small balls and leave it for 15 min.
Now take one by one balls press it on your palm and put one cube of butter in each buns.
Now put all the balls in a big pot and leave it to rise in double size in a warm place. Almost 11/2hour.
In meanwhile make coffe frosting for buns.
Coffee icing.
200 grams butter unsalted
3eggs
Sugar 1/2 cup (icing sugar)
Flour 1cup
3tbs coffee mixed with 3 tbs water.
Method.
Mix all these things together and make icing.
When all buns rise in double size .put this icing in a piping bag and drizzle it on buns in a spiral shape.
Now put all buns in a greased pan and bake it on 200 gas mark for 20 min.
