As the Christmas holidays are near, in today's post I'm going to share with you a little bit of Christmas vocabulary :)
- Le Père Noël ---> Santa Claus
- Un cadeau ---> Present
- Un sapin de Noël ---> Christmas tree
- Une bougie ---> Candle
- Une cloche ---> Bell
- Une neige ---> Snow
- Une cheminée ---> Fireplace
- Des rennes ---> Reindeers
"Qu'est-ce qu'on peut faire pendant l'hiver?" In English, this sentence means "What could we do during the Winter?"
- Aller à la montagne ---> To go to the mountains
- Faire du ski ---> To ski
- Faire un bonhomme de neige ---> To build a snowman
- Faire de la luge ---> Go sledding
- Décorer le sapin de Noël ---> To decorate the Christmas tree
To decorate your christmas tree, you'll need:
- Des boules de Noël ---> Christmas tree baubles
- Une guirlande ---> Christmas tinsel
- Une guirlande lumineuse ---> Christmas tree lights
- Une étoile ---> A star
