And from a perspective of someone who holds the concept of "self-ownership" as paramount to human existence, the GOP and Dems are doing REEEEALY BAD. Ironically, the Libertarians aren't "fresh ideas", they are basically wanting us to go back to 1776 and start over; many of us believing the Constitution of 1789 began the actual degeneration back into tyranny.
