FreeSpeech Initiative. My word of freedom on the Hive

in #freespeech4 years ago (edited)

Hello everyone!

First, I want to congratulate @theycallmedan for being a co-founder. Second, for the excellent initiative of writing an essay on freedom of speech. I immediately remember my years at the University.

From a legal point of view, freedom of speech is a person's right to express their thoughts freely. In most countries, this right is enshrined in the Constitution. For the freedom to express their thoughts, many famous cultural figures and politicians were burned at the stake or deprived of their lives in various ways. And this is very sad.

Scientists who study the human brain have proven experimentally that each person has a different brain from another person. This means that we all think differently, express our opinions differently, evaluate the other person differently, even if we talk about the same thing. It depends on the structure of the brain concrete person, from its level of development, level of education, from the ability to think logically, the ability to critically assess the situation, ability to solve problems without the help of psychologists... Every person is capable of thinking, but not every person is able to convey to others his thought, so that the rest of the interlocutors agree with him.

Currently, people exchange opinions on social networks. And see how they communicate. Many people think that if you write on the Internet, you can say whatever you want? Yes, but we must not forget about the culture of communication. And the virtual interlocutor should be represented as if you are sitting in a chair opposite each other and talking. In a dispute, truth is born.

And again, everyone has their own truth, because everyone has their own brain. And you can't say that I'm the only one who's right and you're always wrong. This is absolutely wrong from the point of view of scienсe.

Again, within the framework of the hive and steemit platform, it seems to me that the concept of freedom of speech is interpreted in a completely different sense. Participants who have been on the platform for a long time, since its opening, consider themselves always right. They built their social connections with other participants, creating small groups to support each other with likes, allowing each other to grow. OK, that's good. But there are situations when these groups unite against other participants and a power struggle begins, they destroy the blogs of other participants, putting up flags. And it is this kind of behavior that is destructive.

People, and we are all people, should be able to negotiate with each other, listening to the point of view of another person, and not to quarrel. Wars are not the best way to win, because they always entail huge losses.

Now I will write about myself. I'm on the platform Steemit for more than two years. I always wrote original posts and posted original, my personal photos. And without evaluating my blog for originality, a spaminator comes to my posts and puts flags. I tried to solve this problem in discord. I was told that my posts were being liked by a fraudster who was mining tweets. But how could I know? I'm not familiar with this scammer, I don't know him. Why didn't the spaminator come to my blog and write a warning, and start flagging my posts?

Now I am openly using my right to freedom of speech on the hive platform. I encourage you @theycallmedan to come to my blog and read the posts I write and rate - is it spam or original text? Spaminator is right, what puts a flag on my posts?

You, @theycallmedan, are now in a situation where you see that many participants do not support you. And you are sure that this is wrong.

So I think too that the spaminator is doing wrong with my posts. What I am trying to say openly, using my right to freedom of speech. I am not sure that my post will be published and you will be able to read it.

But I really hope and will make an upvote of your post, share it on Twitter and wait for your assessment. I want to solve my problem and write on hive, but without flags.

Thank you for your idea and initiative, @theycallmedan!
