Prompt: Half a second
How long does it take to go through that corridor? A minute? 5 minutes freewriting? 5 and a half minutes? What's on the other side?
Have you ever felt like flying? THat's how that corridor feels for me. But, everyone's experiences are different. So try it. Go through. Quit messing around and get it done already. You only have 4 minutes left on the timer.
What'll happen when that clock gets to 0. Will you be here? Will you be with me? Will you be in that corridor examining the scars on the wall?
What about them? It's only the landscape. They won't hurt you. Yet. Not if you get it done in less than 3 and a half minutes.
How long can a corridor be? Does it echo? Are you speaking to it or is it the other way around? Don't be shy. Share your thoughts with it. It's only a corridor. It's connected to your room and the living room. What can be so scary about a confined space? Do you feel lonely? Do you feel hopeless? What do you feel? Sleepless? Headaches? Sleep, child. And shut your mouth. It's time to go to bed. Don't you dare make it wet again tonight. You're on your own. Half a minute left.
No.
Well. Yes. Now less than that.
Don't look at me. I didn't call for you. You were the one who came after me.
A 5 minutes freewrite. Orinigal post
