Continuing the matryoshka theme I've been doing this week, here are my blue matryoshkas.
Some close ups; this blue lady I got from the Russian Treasures Gift Shop in Amsterdam. She has a bit of a delft china look to her, and apparently the ladybird on her head symbolizes luck.
This walrus sailor I brought back with me from our honeymoon to Prague. He may be small, at a three doll version, but he is just so jaunty I had to bring him home!
He came from the shop below.
Check out the size of those dolls... if I had had space in my luggage, I would have brought one of those 2 feet tall ladies home with me.
This cheeky sailor was a present from a friend.
