Immensely nice as it was, while on the air, "One Punch Man" filter in many ways, like the kind of anime that would be forever after a single season.
With a staff that poured an immense amount of talent and passion into the show, but very little in the way of panicked boredom adventures, they simply called superhero Saitama were meant to be the kind of veteran stuff Japanese animation fans talk about. Love for years, before finishing your conversations with a sigh and a melancholy "why not more of that?"
So it is even sweeter to discover that we are, in fact, increasingly "One Punch Man" Even better, the new project is not a series of exclusive Internet or DVD shorts, but a second full broadcast season of anime TV.
The news came on Sept. 25 at the "One Punch Man" Fall Festival fan event, which included live performances of the opening of the show and ending with JAM Project and Hiroko Moriguchi, respectively.
No timetable has been set for the return of the series, but with the autumn television station, which lasts approximately 13 weeks, just about to begin in Japan, the second season of premiere of "One Punch Man" will be arriving until early 2018 at the earliest. Still, it's good to know that we're going to be receiving Saitama's return, even if we're not sure exactly when at the moment.
