Before getting into the victory

I would like to stress the process that i been through on my journey of farming my newest mercenaries, keep in mind the fact that the Lok'holar and Sinister are brand new mercenaries which has just until recently added to the game as a Legendary Mercenary Expansion. Which means either one of them costs 500 mercenary coins.

p.s to get 5 of those coins one has to finish whole of the path clearing approximately 50 mobs (and the boss or bosses more precisely because they come min 3x + upto 5/8) and it just take a good 20 - 30 minutes of your life

The problem is not the time and the mental energy you put into as long as the mouse clicks but the possibility factor, which means you have 1/3 chance of getting just 5 of the correct Mercenary coins. So in theory you need to play at least 500/5 =100x games though in practice it is a lot more because you don't get the correct coins all the time and sometimes you even play 5x times and never get the ones that you were trying to farm for!

Lets get into it

The part of the shoot is just the entrance, it gives us the ability to pick a route which is either filled with Mages/Rogues or Warriors/tanks, they all come with different abilities so there are pros/cons for each of them which makes it even tricky because you will need to have some sort of strategy to make it until the end because once your mercenary dies inside the fight/you can't resurrect it unless you are very lucky and encounter a spirit healler... But if you do that you miss the strange encounter which gives you ability to pursue ingame quests to finish the mercenary task and if you are not farming your mercenary/it's quests then why bother all of that? So that's why it is tricky to pick a correct path to keep your mercenaries alive so you don't have to give up on your quest/taks so you can finish the dungeon while levelling your mercenary's quests/taks up! (so you get new weapons, so you upgrade your abilities and hit more dmg/heal more etc)

This is how it looks inside and the mechanics are at a bare metal like that, you pick your abilities and it sorts the mercenaries from 1st to 6th, if the abilities you choose are faster than the enemy's you hit early and sometimes hitting early means killing the enemy so disqualifying them so you save your mercs life!

You noticed? The first merc gets the dmg is them bc i choosed faster abilities

Though choosing faster abilities does not guarantee the kill, sometimes slower abilities has higher dmg (for obvious reasons) and it is all about the strategy and the timing (with a bit of luck i.e they may hit CRITIC so you may die asap/or you too :P )

Start was good but i failed to calculate the possibility of a crit or more of them actually, i almost lost my Lok'holar ice lord which is the one at the bottom left that has 5/9 abilities on it

I hate losing merc's as it makes it harder if not impossible to get to the boss without them, there is no such luxury to lose mercs on the way up to the bosses, you must survive to finish the bosses, you can't just die at the mobs (well at least like me)

I really like vol'jin the one that is at the bottom right, it does insane AOE dmg regardless of the number of the enemies

But the enemy mercs has annoying AOE's too and the middle merc just received a CRIT mdg, if the luck was not on their side, i would only received -4 dmg but A CRITIC dmg makes it -20! just like how you can see from the middle and there is really nothing that i can do except being lucky enough to receive normal dmg just like how we read from the skill bar.

FROST WEAKNESS is a DEBUFF and it makes quadripples the dmg intake when they do CRITIC at the top of it!

sO MAYBE THAT'S WHY i lost one of the merc's there but i too have some HEALLING abilities which also does COUNTER ATTACK to the enemy mercs

Though i had to bring a new merc NATALIE to continue

I was fortunate (not stupid maybe smart enough) to Slow enemies so i could use my abilities before them so i could kill them before they even attack me back!

Still one of them made it into the line and i received a bleed, though i had NATALIE and i was able to heal and COUNTER ATTACK

That's how i received my

17 Scrolls and if i could do it 100 more times i could level up my daily progress bar to receive 50 GOLDS
that's alot no?
Yeah, but i still manages to ship these into the HIVE! Which is better than STEEMIT or BLURT

No i am not gonna lie, nor create this annoying feeling of TO BE CONTINUED why would they do that? why don't they simply share the fact and let us free from waiting until the next time? Yeah i failed, i could not get to the boss, why? Remember what i wrote at the beginning, `one must survive through the boss, until the end, we don't have no luxury to die and lose a merc along the way, if you do there ain't no chance against a boss which has 400 HP (and there are min 3x of them)
So it is damn frkn hard!
But if it was not hard, i would be bored after killing couple of bosses, as it is hard, it breings the joy and the goodies when you defeat them! (or just spend $500 hand open up 50x packs to gamble to see whether if you can drop a merc of your choice (which is not likely)

Yeah who knows? Maybe i could get some votes and find this topic on the hive news feed at the top so i may afford 50x packs so i could share a post about 50x pack opening to see whether if it is possible to drop a legendary Balista Merc :P

p.s i could only level these guys up because the rest of my mercs were dead, but Caesar did not born as Caesar in 1 day, he deserved it!
