Orochi cosplay

about a year ago I started to play For Honor, my favorite character became orochi which I played during the beta test
I had wanted to do this character's cosplay a long time ago and I was browsing the internet in search of tutorials, but none of the cosplays seemed appropriate to me

I've seen a lot, people doing them or doing something in the armor or their posture did not fit the character

Well, the helmet is the most difficult one
it's really difficult to assess its shape, I tried to make a model several times but it failed

another thing is clothing, most people does not pay so much attention to it

the first is something like a kimono with an orange thick belt on which there is a rope

the rope is attached to the ring on which the sword is mounted and holds the two pieces of material on the sides probably also holds material falling on the thighs which one absorbing impacts

to get the perfect helmet model I wanted to rip the model of the game
unfortunately this is against the policy of ubisoft and they have secured enough for this

recently I came up with the idea of ​​using photogrametry, theoretically not subject to the ripping of the model

besides, I do not intend to share this model anyway

the results have satisfied me, although I have absorbed a few days trying to learn how to use the program and a few nights of rendering the models

I managed to create a very exact copy of the model using photogrammetry now with the use of a blender I intend to check the dimensions of all parts of the armor I managed to get the exact look of the part I need to cut to make a helmet

the rest of the armor, well - it may take a while, I am excessively accurate

ah well the next problem is that I intend to use steel not some foam
the helmet will be 2.5mm thick
it may be hard enough to bend (depends on how hard it will be steel) but somehow I can handle a hammer I can handle some anvil and burner
the rest of the armor, fortunately, is made of wood, only the shoulder pads I chose have on the left arm 8 steel tiles the rest is wood
the helmet will weigh 2-3kg
I am not able to assess how much the rest of the armor will weigh but Im sure less than the armor of European knights

I hope that the project will succeed and if there is any interest in publishing the relation or a tutorial I can make it
however, I can not promise you, I'm not sure if I will have the desire and the time
and I still have to have materials
I have a lot of wood but I would have to buy steel :/
