Some interesting news coming from digital foundry it appears in control when using graphics mode that the game is locked to 30. When you go into photo mode while in that same mode it uncaps the frame rate to a max of 60 FPS. So why is this interesting or important to most users? Honestly it would not be that much interesting to your average user. But for bench marking and seeing how the console compare to one another it is actually very important.

Most games have shown to be in favor of one or the other console. Some people using certain screen shots to try and tell one story of another. While I can debunk most of those screen shots and some of the fans started walking back their attitude towards consoles trying that notably individuals like MBG(muscle bound gaming) being one of the worst attempts at being a critic. This appears to show a steady lead for the XBOX of up to 16% over its competition.

Starting off with their video they show the hardest hit area for this only giving a lead to the Xbox of 1%

Although being low it is still a lead.

This second showing more of a 10.8% lead.

This section showing a 14.2% lead.

This being one of the worst in the same setting mode being a 38% lead. This begs to differ since this raytracing mode is running at 1440p could there be an option alone for the xbox to turn this game to 1080p and allow it to run at 60FPS. This being a possibility? I do not think you could get that since the resolution difference is only 33.33%. I do not believe there will be enough of a bump down in resolution to allow for the GPU to gain upwards of about 81% more fps in the worst case to allow for a flat 60 fps in this game with quality settings on for the xbox. Let alone the 87.5% increase the FPS would need for the ps5 to allow for the same 60 fps in worst case scenes.

I just think this is an interesting benchmark that shows the system still has room to expand and hopefully with further improvements to the gaming engines themselves will allow for better running games in the future. Everything needs optimization in the end.

I'm not here to bash one system over another like many other content creators would love to do to make themselves feel like their purchase was worth it. I am just showing things are not as those "creators" would like to make it seem.
