Ubisoft reacted fast to the recent terrible happenings with the Notre Dame and offered a €500,000 donation to help with the restoration. Also, they would like to give all gamers the chance to experience the majesty and beauty of the cathedral through Assassin's Creed Unity on PC ~ until 25th of April you can download the game free of charge from here.
If you would like to try the game but don't have enough space on you PC don't worry, just claim it and you can have access to it whenever you want.

Nice. Thanks for sharing. I have created an account and the game has been added to my Uplay library. I'm not sure when I'm going to be playing this. But good that I have it in my library. I'll find some day in the future to play this game.

I read about the news a few days ago. What a tragedy. I wish the game will remind people of how beautiful the cathedral really was. I've read that most of the artifacts inside aren't harmed. I hope that's true.
I don't have too much information about the artifacts, but it is a sad tragedy indeed. So many people offered donations, I think it will be re-built in no-time.
It is a really nice deed indeed from the game devs. I am not too likely to play the game through, but would like to check the cathedral out for sure :)
