Custom Backlit Game Boy Advance Review

in #gaming7 years ago

Nintendo's original Game Boy Advance is a fantastic system, but it has a flaw. Without a back-light it's almost impossible to see the screen. Today I check out 8 Bit Evolution's custom Game Boy Advance with a backlit display. Does it stand up?

lol, it's actually kind of funny because it's true the screen was so unbearably hard to see in any environment with the slightest bit of brightness that the next model of the Gameboy Advance was the SP and they made sure to put a backlight on that sucker! It drained the battery hours too early but I remember as a child that as long as I carried my charger around it didn't matter much anyway! It was all worth it to be able to play Zelda in the middle of summer when I was constantly being told to go outside and play haha! Good memories! :)gba_02.jpg

I had one of those while growing up. Flaws or no flaws it was the best thing that happened to my childhood

Hahaha i miss playing gameboy.. i use to play pokemon on this device all they long when i was in gradeschool I miss those days. Hehehe :')

Well GBA was the first system I emulated on PC... It may have been a bad move legally(?) but it's one of the reasons I'm a gamer right now. And you could call it the main reason I'm in love with anything/most of what Nintendo does!!

GBA was a great handheld!!

The Gameboy lokks good :)
