When is Red Dead Redemption 2 going to be released?
Rockstar first claimed that RDR2 will be released in Fall 2017, but this release date was pushed back to spring 2018. Which means that we most likely have to wait till next year to get this awesome game.
some extra time is necessary to ensure that we can deliver the best experience.
-- Rockstar Entertainment
The game may still be months off, but you can pre-order it now via retailers such as GameStop, Amazon, and GAME. Prices range from £45.99 to £59.97.
What platforms will Red Dead 2 be available on?
So far Red Dead Redemption 2 has only been confirmed for PS4 and Xbox One consoles but there are plenty of gamers out there pleading for it to come to PC.
The Original Red Dead Redemption had no port for PC, but that didn't stop the PC community to start an Online Petition. The Petition has 56.923 Signatures at the time of writing and is just 18.077 short of its goal.
The Message of the Petition being:
The PC gaming community requests you to consider releasing Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC platform. We have always supported you and loved your marvelous [sic] games over the years. Please do not deprive us of enjoying your beautiful games, as you did with Red Dead Redemption (2010). This will be an injustice to your fans if you do not bring Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC this time.
What can we expect from Red Dead 2 gameplay?
Take-Two Ceo explained that the game will have "incredible emotional depth" with "great story elements and great gameplay elements." Which I truly hope for, because the original Red Dead Redemption nailed that really good. A lot of speculations hint that the new RDR will be the Prequel to the first one, which makes a lot of sense in the context of the trailer and the new map.
We took a different point of view, which is that very occasionally westerns capture the imagination of the public. When we launched Red Dead, it did. And those times were right for that. And I think the times are right for a big, sprawling, optimistic view of America again--and that's not meant to be cute.
Red Dead Redemption 2 will finally have a multiplayer mode, which was not further explained and we will need to wait for future announcements to get more information on that.
The Big thing is that we will be able to play 3 different Characters in Red Dead Redemption 2, similar to the style of grand theft auto 5.
The Map:
The New Map shows familiar locations that we already know from the first game. This Map is larger than, the already really big, of the first game and suggests that the player will be able to swim or take a boat to islands.
The Image of the Map is actually the real deal and is a recent art that was leaked from the studio, which they confirmed to be true.
