RE: Revamping the garden

in #garden10 days ago

Nice project, gardening and landscaping may seem painful, but it is I find very therapeutic and when its is all done rewarding, sitting down and casting ones eye over the estate. I did mine last year, put down a whole knew patio , and like you a "dry river bed" I just call it a pebble pathway, also a pond that really was easier than expected to install, it is only "out" by no ore than a 1/4 inch so am happy with its lean!!

Don't whatever you do then rush out and buy a Ninja woodfire outdoor smoker......they are rubbish!!!

We got our labourer to use his digger to make the river and a hole for the pond. Digging by hand is just hard work. He though we were having a 'path', but he got the idea once the pebbles were in.

I think with the pond I need to add water as I back-fill. It all needs to settle as the weight of water takes effect.

Digging by hand is just hard work
It is but oh the wonderful ache of hard work is worth it, but I am just weird, looking forward to seeing the progression though
