I was finally able to move my Philipine Violets out of my greenhouse yesterday. The weather has been nice enough just the rest of life has been busy.
Poor thing was pushed up against the side so it kind of grew a little awkward over the winter. I cut some of the dead limbs off. We had quite a freeze this winter in San Antonio Texas and I lost quite a few plants. Better planning already in store for next year.
So after the wagon ride, placing on porch, and twisting to see which way to position I discovered a wasp nest.
Boy was I lucky that could have been a bad start to the week. When I walked out today to my surprise there was a beautiful flower that bloomed and a bud just about ready. I guess it was waiting for the move.
We have had some great drizzle type of rain that is saturating everything wonderfully. I can't wait to see all the blooms in the garden and my roses too.
Last but not least some squishy cuteness. My kiddos can't seem to get enough of them. Every time I turn around one of them has gone to pick one or two of them up.
I didn't expect this one to make it but its holding on despite beings so much smaller then the rest.
The black one is from the same litter.
Till next time from the land of little lagamorphas.
You are lucky the wasps did not go after you. They can be so mean and their sting really hurts! I am glad you did not get attacked.
I also hope you little runt baby rabbit continues to grow stronger. Runts tend to be the sweetest animals and often are smarter than their bigger siblings. Just give it time and it could be the best rabbit of all!
Very true on both accounts. I keep Basil essential oil on hand including in my purse for those just in case moments.
Omg! That little one!!! How cute 🤗 Your Philistine vine is beautiful! You put it on your front porch?
Its actually a perineal shrub. I have 2 of them in large pots on the porch. It will reach up to about 3 feet.
