Western officials like to repeat that Israel is their only friend in the 'Middle East' because it's the only 'democracy' like them, I'm not going to discuss that there's not a single democracy in any monarchy around the world, or in the so-called two parties systems, but let's get beyond this.
Let's also not talk about the 'Jewish' state of 'Israel' as they promote it, which literally means a state for the followers of one religion while the others are treated as second-class citizens or maybe outcasts, sounds very much like apartheid, not a democracy, but let's get beyond this, as well.
Father John Sheehan thought this issue over and came up with a conclusion:

Forgot to ask you not to think too much about the 7 trillion dollars spent on wars for Israel in the Middle East, as per Donald Trump, and those 7 trillions are the principle for the main debt the US has, not counting the hundreds of billions of dollars and euros in grants.
