Above pic -The Boys at Convict Lake about 20 miles from Mammoth, Convict supposedly has great hiking trails here as well
as a campground. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the dogs loved it! there was no one to bother and
our boys could play freely off leash and swim until they were tired out. We did happen to meet a professional photographer
who snapped this awesome pic and emailed it to me. What a great memory!

Below are some amazing views you will see! We stayed the first 2 nights at the Twin Lakes campground, we did not
have a reservation but we lucked out and got the very last site, I would recommend to try and reserve a site or at least get there
early enough to have first dibs. Twin lakes features one of the best places to take a nice hot shower if you don't mind paying
$5. the sites are nestled around the Twin Lakes which feature great fishing, paddle boating or just enjoying a great view. I would
recommend Twin Lakes and plan to go back this summer!

Mammoth is approximately 7000 ft in elevation so the winters provide awesome skiing and the summers are best
in June, July, August especially if you are camping and playing in the water. If your not in to camping you can find cabin rentals
and a 10 minute drive in to town provides some great little bar and restaurants so you will not lack for anything during your
trip. If you have never been to Mammoth check it out. The Dogs loved it, the humans loved it and so will you!
