Golden Hour: beautiful sunset over the Pacific Ocean in Venice Beach, Los Angeles

Hi there my Steemit friends and followers!

Today is Sunday and if you visit my blog regularly, you probably know what to expect from me on this day - yes, a sunset shot! :)

During our Californian trip we made a few months ago, we spent a whole day hanging around the Santa Monica and Venice beaches and even though it was a bit chilly there (at least for us, coming from the scorching Riviera Maya, Mexico), we were determined to wait for the sunset no matter what and it did pay off!

We were rewarded with this spectacular sight conjured up by the Mother Nature herself. This image was taken just a few hundred meters from the Venice Beach Pier.
