Even though we didn't have much in common making us drop by each others' posts too often, everyone knows you are one of the veterans of this place and you were always an example for me. It was always fascinating to see how far you reached considering that my account is just one year younger than yours but never really managed to take my contribution on the chain to the level you did with yours. Nevertheless, it's a great loss to see you go but IRL life will always be more important and it's understandable. So go conquer some more hearts with your talent, smartness, and human being! ❤️
Wow! Thank you so much for sharing that with me. I am very honored that you considered me an example. I’m glad we still ran into each other from time to time 😉. I think because I’m a veteran it makes it that much harder to walk away from here. Being here since the beginning through everything is a special feeling and place I’ll forever hold.
There were a few years I remember being on here like everyday and all day (in between house duties) and giving it my all. Those were the times I decided to take advantage of using the skills I gained to take on a newbie initiative where I would make posts all about Hive ethics. During this time I was making extra efforts to do a lot of commenting as well. So I think with finding a niche I enjoyed (teaching about Hive) on top of running a community really helped put me in view of more people. I didn’t start out thinking I would be leading anything here lol, but turns out I was able to use what I was passionate about to reach people and make an impact. There was so much more I wanted to do but I had to cut back my time on the platform and things slowed down for me.
From what I see, you also have an influence here and a nice following. I also see that you run your own community now. So cool!!

Thank you so much! Back when we joined the chain we had no clue we will have these days when being able to run our own communities and teach people from our experience. I only started being more active commenting in the last couple of months and that did improve my audience but with 12-16 hours of work daily, sometimes it feels hard to get back here and engage. I do try my best though and no doubt Hive is worth the whole time we have.
But when moments like yours come by and you get the chance to do something important IRL then the situation is understandable. Who knows though? Maybe one day we will hear from you again and get some life updates. Take care and thank you again for everything you did here! ❤️
