#1 Google Search Result for my Article from 2022... I'm wondered :)

in #google10 days ago

In 2022, I traveled to Thailand, including a visit to the beautiful island of Koh Lanta. While there, I had the chance to meet a German pizza maker who had moved to Thailand many years ago. His story stuck with me, and I decided to do something special for him. At the time, I explained to him what we do here on Hive ... how our blog posts can create visibility and even help local businesses. I promised him that I would write a detailed article about his pizzeria and make an effort to get it to rank high on search engines.

Fast forward to now. Out of curiosity, I recently searched for the keywords I had used in that article... pizza koh lanta and I was amazed by what I found. My article is still at the top position in Google’s organic search results! Right there, below all the Tripadvisor listings and Google Maps entries, sits my post. To say I’m proud would be an understatement. It feels incredible to have achieved the very goal I set out to accomplish. It should be a particularly short keyword that a visitor or tourist in Thailand might enter. My next tests will focus on conducting the same search again with targeting from Koh Lanta.

If you’re curious, why not try it for yourself? Type pizza koh lanta into your search engine and let me know in the comments where my article shows up for you. I’d love to hear about it!

Also, if you’re interested, I could share some tips on how to optimize articles to perform well in search rankings. There’s a bit of a science behind it, and I’d be happy to break it down for anyone who wants to learn. Let me know if that’s something you’d like to see!

Czech Google actually shows some of my travel posts from Spain on the first page of search results. Even Peakd counter shows regular visits there, and they are few years old.

The more the merrier - we need more organic traffic!

We need to start Operation Organic Content ^^

No need to start it officially - just write your best ;)

That's pretty cool that even after all this time it is so close to the top. I wonder if the place is still even open.

Hmm, only 5th page on Presearch. Such a big difference between the two. Of course, Google ranking counts more.

On Presearch it's Place #7 on my side here
#6 on ecosia

Perhaps it matters what node is used to search. I used "eu-de-1 region" nodes.
