Gridcoin Press Release

I'm looking for 1-3 community members who would be willing to help to prepare a Gridcoin press release material. As we all know Gridcoin media coverage is almost nonexistent. Let's change it!

What is the press release?

Organizations and companies prepare media material covering updates from the organization, like quarterly earnings, new products, management changes. They can be in the form of reports, stories or interviews. They are sent to press and other media, where editors and journalists pick up interesting material.

What is the cost?

• Might be zero. If you know the name of a journalist who might be interested, we can send to him directly. This is the best way.

• $50 to $300 if using newsroom agent, depending on area coverage and other factors; this way our story can reach several thousand publishers

What we need?

A quality text, good graphics would be a big bonus. Catchy title. Imagine editor receives 300 such emails a day. He will delete 99% of them in 10 minutes. Thus in response to recent:

Bitcoin's energy consumption 'equals that of Switzerland' - BBC News

We could title:

'Gridcoin energy consumption equals that of a tiny village in Switzerland, while it's searching for EBOLA cure'

Well, maybe too long and not ideal yet.
