Hackers are now more than ever making money off people's computers. Not by stealing information or stealing an identity or illegal spending, But they are installing miner applications for creating cryptocurrency and it is making huge profits withing the six digits.
I did a little digging and found out you can get these miners tools for free online and all you have to do is put the miner on a family member or friends computer and point it to the pool you registered to and start earning cryptocurrencies to exchange for good old Dollars.
How can you protect your PC from this ?
You can protect yourself by getting familiar with cryptocurrencies like "bitcoin and ethereum-classic" which are also cryptocurrency that are mined by computers. After getting familiar you can then set your computer to mine your own.
So after knowing what hackers are doing to make money these days. After realizing cryptocurrency exist and seem like its is hear to stay as no government has yet to take down these currencies that are being created by miners all over the globe. The Banks and governments seem to be adapting to this new technological phenomenon adding it their infrastructure rather than taking them down.
Hackers have improved their mining to a very high level of infiltration as I recently stumbled accross a hacking mining app on Cryptopia's marketplace in the "others" section. I paid 0.05 BTC to get a copy sent to me via email in order to test it out.
It was just as advertised this mining hack is almost impossible to find withing a PC system and will run in the background hidden and working in complete silence.
