We call them lions mane for a common name around here. I’ve grown them and will probably grow them again real soon.
Excellent edible mushroom and great medicinal. The neurogenesis that takes place in the hippocampus could be a cure for things like Alzheimer’s or dementia. Certainly looks promising but definitely a good preventative medicine.
