FOOT MASK PEEL SESSION WENT WRONG

I WOKE UP RUNNING AND SLIPPING ON MY WAY TO THE BATHROOM.

I feel like crying. I woke up removing the socks, running and slipping on my way to the bathroom. You might wonder why. I left my foot mask on my feet last night and fell asleep. The only suggested time was 2 hrs and I left it for almost 8 hrs. Ughhh. I just removed the wet socks that I used for soaking, so while i was running to the bathroom I kept slipping.
How can I stop it from peeling?

I put it on last night then played Call Of Duty on my phone to keep myself awake. Then my mom called in several times and told me to sleep. I said that I'm keeping myself awake bec I have it on my feet and I'm waiting for the time to be done but I guess she might not even heard it. So I turned off the game because she keeps on coming back to the room and I would hear her complain. I looked at the time and saw that I have 20 mins left of soaking my feet on the foot mask . I was thinking of washing it , but also thought to just wait a little more. Since I was already in the bed lying I didn't notice and fell asleep.

And this is the story why I immediately run to the bathroom as soon as I woke up.

I know it would have a bad effect on my feet , as I have seen some reviews in the product online where some also left it at night and their feet ended up with wounds probably because of over soaking in the peeling chemical.

Can anyone help me on what to do ? For now what I am doing is putting on lotion, because I remember that they said not to put lotion in it bec it may stop the peeling process. Honestly right now, I don't care if it won't peel and I'm praying that it won't peel, because if it does then my feet would suffer.

Can anyone help me on what else to do to prevent it from peeling? This is not the first time that I used the foot peeling mask, it is actually the fourth time and ofc the previous sessions went fine. It just happened that I forgot it overnight this time. 🤦🏽
