"Vaccines contain mercury, aluminum & formaldehyde"
Do they?
Who says they do?
This is important information for Steemit.com readers wherever you live.
Well, according to the National Vaccine Information Center...
"By federal law, drug companies selling vaccines in the U.S. must publish information about vaccine ingredients in the manufacturer package insert that comes with vials of vaccines shipped to doctors’ offices, public health clinics and pharmacies." Source: NVIC
Then their article provides a long, well-referenced list of DOZENS of worrying ingredients including...
mercury
aluminum
formaldehyde.
But that's not all
In "Caveat Emptor: Science vs. CDC on Scary Flu Shot Promotions", the World Mercury Project says,
"What ARE the scientific facts about the flu shot? The science indicates significant risks and low efficacy, both in the U.S. and internationally." (Emphasis mine throughout.)
"Although all vaccines have the potential to cause serious harm to both children and adults, influenza vaccines—which contain neurotoxic and carcinogenic ingredients such as thimerosal and formaldehyde as well as bacterial endotoxin—lead the pack in U.S. reports of serious vaccine injuries. More than four out of five (83%) of the vaccine injury cases (275/332) settled through the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (NVICP) for the nine-month period from mid-November 2016 through mid-August 2017 were flu-vaccine-related, including four deaths. Notably, almost four in ten of the reported non-fatal injuries for that period were for the highly debilitating and potentially life-threatening Guillain-Barre syndrome (GBS). Studies have linked GBS to flu vaccines for many years, suggesting plausible biological mechanisms to explain the relationship. "
Vaccine Injury payouts $61M / year
The article also reports that National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program paid out $61 million in one recent year, and the trend is RISING.
But that's nothing compared to the size of the flu market in the US. It's a BILLION DOLLAR business already, and on track to reach $3B in the next five years.
The above is just the tip of a very big iceberg

Flu vaccine seems like a scam.
Indeed, Dave. Or worse.
"The science indicates significant risks and low efficacy" but they feed the media enough scary stories about the flu to keep the sales up.
Come to think of it, it's a mighty attractive business model (ethics aside) -- it doesnt work, it's risky, but if you can scare the customers enough, they will keep buying it.
Thanks for your comment, Dave.
Gary
Great info, Gary. I've never taken the flu vaccine or any other vaccines that are recommended for visiting developing countries. I always believed that having a strong immune system was the best 'vaccine.' My mother is one of those people who never gets ill. But she got a flu vaccine once at the recommendation of her doctor and got sicker than she'd ever been before. Lesson learned.
Kate, that is SO GOOD to read your family story about the trouble that vaxx can bring in its payload. Not good about your Mum, but good to have your confirmation of the overall point.
Totally agree - a strong immune system is a wonderful health asset. It gets to the heart of the matter whereas many other medical strategies are only treating the effects. Or trying to.
Gary
Gary, this is troubling. Will be resteeming this to help get the word out. Thanks for sharing!
It sure is, Angela. Your help in spreading the word is much appreciated.
And welcome to Steemit. Great to see you so active on day one. I'm now following your progress here. It's an exciting opportunity!
Gary
Need any help? Don't hesitate to reach out. There's a lot to learn - and many willing to lend a hand.
Gary
That's so kind of you, Gary. Thank you again. As I said to Peggy the other day when she said the same thing, you may regret it! ;)
It's a risk I'm willing to take. You'll find a generally helpful community here, it seems.
Gary
My pleasure, Gary.
And Thank you. I am SO excited to be here. Waiting to be approved and watching Steemit videos on YT (didn't know about DTube then), I remembered how much I used to enjoy blogging, vlogging and posting on Twitter especially years ago. I've never been too much of a FB girl but I LOVE what I'm seeing here.
Very exciting!
Meant to say earlier - thanks for resteeming my vaccines post. Very much appreciated, Angela.
I think we met in Kindling, didn't we?
Gary
Yes, absolutely. It was Kindling, Gary. Haven't been in there in ages. It's been calling though. ;)

Hey, what am I doing... talking to a robot?
Nope, chatting to the good folks from the anti-plagiarism department who may visit this page. Welcome, folks! If you do have any advice for this newcomer, I'm all ears.
Gary
Oh Gary, you tapped into one of the topics where I am ready to argue and then I see that this is the flu shot. Which I never get. So I have to agree with you and I appreciate the details on the flu shot. In spite of the so-called cold I had last week, I am rarely sick. Like Kate, I have a strong immune system.
I look forward to seeing you again.
Thanks for contributing here, Joanne.
Keep well.
Gary
I agree that a good immune system is our best defense. I know I'm healthy and luckier than many others but have only gotten the flu shot once. Don't plan to get it again.
Maybe having a cat (or any pet) is a good health strategy?
(as well as avoiding risky behaviours like getting shots).
