  • When you leave home, wear gloves or mittens. Do not take them on the subway, buses and public places.

  • If you need to take off your gloves, for example, for lunch, do not touch your face or eyes with your hands, even if something is scratching. Eliminate any contact between hands and head. And before you put on the gloves again, wash your hands with soap and warm water, wiping each finger.

  • Change gloves daily, wash them thoroughly and dry well.

  • The medical mask protects poorly in the room and is practically useless on the street. And using the same mask every day turns it into a hotbed of bacteria. Do not hope that it protects you reliably. Better to avoid the crowd and do not approach outsiders on the street - keep a distance of at least half a meter. In the case of relatives and friends, exclude handshakes, hugs and any close contact.

  • At home, be sure to replace all towels in the bathroom and in the kitchen. Take new clean ones so that every member of the family has his personal towel. Wash them twice a week and dry well.

  • Be careful with the door handles. If possible, open and close the doors using your elbows or shoulders. Wear gloves if you need to turn the handle. If you have done this without gloves, be sure to wash your hands after each such contact. Also try not to touch the stair railing, desktops, other people's gadgets, toys and personal items.

  • If you share food with someone, do not use your personal cutlery and utensils for this. Each dish on the table should have its own fork or spoon to put on a plate. But everyone should have his own personal devices. Wash all dishes thoroughly after eating. Children should also be forbidden to drink from someone else's cups.

  • Do not buy or eat raw animal meat and fish until you know which species has become the source of the virus.

  • If weather permits, open windows at home, releasing air. The virus cannot stay in a well-ventilated area. Do the same thing at work.

  • If you have to look after the patient, wear a tight-fitting medical mask - everyone should have it in your house, including the infected person. Use latex gloves and long-sleeved clothing. Rinse all dishes and items that the patient has been in contact with. After use, personal hygiene products should be packed in sealed plastic bags, and only then cleaned in a bin. It is recommended that the patient be isolated in a separate room, which is important to periodically ventilate.
