This is how caffeine affects your brain

in #health7 years ago

You already know that it is your salvation in the morning and can cause diarrhea, but do you know exactly how it affects your brain?

Initially you should bear in mind that caffeine is stimulant to the central nervous system, stopping the molecule that causes sleep - adenosine.

When the body breaks a molecule called ATP for energy, it releases adenosine, which makes you sleepy. The more ATP you break during the day, the more sleepy you will be.

But caffeine affects blocking the release of adenosine, which prevents sleep.

Caffeine also helps in the course of dopamine and can provide you with long-term benefits against Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's and some forms of cancer.

In addition, there is evidence that caffeine also helps in fat burning and can increase athletic performance.

Just a quick article , and some help by my uncle .
