"Why GMOs Are Bad for Your Health"

In today’s society there are those who ether love food or believe that the food of today is harming them. Many people say the way food is processed today is very unhealthy and large corporations are processing these foods with one goal in mind, to make a profit. With so much going on in this world how do you get control over your food which is controlled by Businesses, Governments, and Laws, our food, education, money, and much more is under the control of the Government and if we do not as individuals get involved in our society the food we eat today will always be in favor of the many political and corporate executive officials. Many corporations are researching and developing genetic engineered products and that is creating atrocity. GMOs are a serious danger to the public, Government oversight of GMOs which contaminate the population is dangerously lax, and genetic engineering manifests dangerous side effects.
Reports articulate the American Academy of Environmental Medicine desires doctors to propose non-GMO diets due to the fact that animal studies display organ damage, immune system disorders, accelerated aging, and infertility. GMOs are being processed in to the foods that we eat and people are blind to the effect it has on the world’s population. Human studies show that genetically modified foods are causing long-term problems. For example genes that are inserted into genetically modified food can transfer into the DNA of bacteria inside of us.

Corporations are practicing an unethical practice in processing the public’s food with GMOs which is causing harm to the public’s health and wellbeing. GMOs are not just effecting us through eating foods processed with them, but are effecting us through contamination as well.
The world’s problem with contamination is serious and the governments’ negligent attitude towards the oversight of GMOs is serious. In the Institute for responsible technology’s blog, “10 Reasons to Avoid GMOs”, Jeffery Smith articulates, “Most of the health and environmental risks of GMOs are ignored by governments’ superficial regulations and safety assessments. The reason for this tragedy is largely political. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), for example, doesn’t require a single safety study, does not mandate labeling of GMOs, and allows companies to put their GM foods onto market without even notifying the agency.” (Smith). Now that is alarming that a thing that is harming the public can have such a laissez faire oversight by the government. According to the blog it is impossible to fully clean our contaminated gene pool. GMO pollution will outlast the effects of global warming and nuclear waste. The potential impact will affect the health of many generations to come and has caused an economic loss for those who grow pure natural crops. Genetic engineering is manifesting dangerous side effects and must be dealt with.
Fusing two or more distinct species genes together in our foods causes a host of unpredictable side effects. A result in doing such a thing can manifest massive collateral damage that would produce new toxins, allergens, and nutritional deficits. Genetic engineering must seize due to its side effects. Many corporations are making food that doesn't help us, but it makes money, many television shows are hurting us, but its making money, the music is killing us, but it makes money. Cash rules everything around and we are fighting more than GMOs. We are fighting the money which is backing that very engineering that is killing us. GMOs are affecting

the public, contaminating the world and the government is just not doing anything to destroy the very thing destroying the world.
In conclusion, many scientists that have proven GMOs are a problem have been fired, threatened, and denied funding. That is the system in which we all live in. We could all look at any industry and say that there product is not helping however at end of the day it is about making a profit to these large corporations and as long as we do not do anything about this we will always be affected from now till the end of time by GMOS.
