Hello Steemians,
Today i want to draw to your consciousness the harmful effect of drug abuse. i have vivivdly compile the list of drugs together with ways in which they are administered and also the health hardzards of those drugs. I hope will all share this post to reach a wider society to take cognizance of drug abuse.
DRUG ABUSE

DRUG: This is refer to as a substance that is used as medication or use in the preparation of medication. Drugs are meant to be administered with the prescribed dosage.

ABUSE: this has to do with a corrupt practice or customs of using things. It is also an improper or excessive use of something.

DRUG ABUSE is an improper or Excessive way of using drugs. These drugs are made to be Overdose which can result to drowsiness of its user. The correct usage of this drugs are thereby abused. It has been noted that the aim of this users is hazardous to health and can cause death. The W.H.O known as WORLD HEALTH ORGANISATION has clearly warn against drug abuse and persons who are involved will be apprehended and dealt with by the law.
The world health organisation with the aid of its department of mental Health and Substance abuse organised for the first time a meeting to fight alcohol,drugs, and addictive behavior (FADAB) with a goal to enhance public health action and also eradicate general abuse of drugs.

The effort of W.H.O and F.A.D.A.B has been helpful and it is assumed that with time ,the rate of drug abuse will reduce. The W.H.O has also committed themselves to continous work toward the elimination of drug abuse.

LIST OF ADDICTIVE DRUGS, HOW TO ADMINISTER IT AND ITS POSSIBLE HEALTH HAZARDS

MARIJUANA and HASHISH

These substances are in a flower or grass form which can be smoked and swallowed by addicts, its is also refer to as grass, weed, dope etc. The substance is capable of so many health hazards.They belong to CANNABINOIDS substances

HEALTH HAZARDS

chronic Cough, respiratory infections,mental disorder, addiction
,cancer of the throat, memory loss,increased heart rate, increased
in phobia which might lead to death.

HEROIN and OPIUM

These substances are referred to as OPIOIDS which can be injected, snort,swallowed and smoked by addicts. It is also one of the most dangerous form of hard drugs to be taken by addicts. It is also known as dope, horse,block,hop and brown sugar by users

HEALTH HAZARDS

sedation,slowed and arrested breath,HIV,constipation,hepatitis,
dizziness,endocarditis,drowsiness and constant confusion.

COCAINE , AMPHETAMINE and METHAMPHETAMINE

these are substances that belong to the same family known as STIMULANT. As the name implies,such drugs stimulates the body in such an aggressive manner and can lead to health disorder and problems. these drugs are also known as speed,rock,fire,ice and crank by addicts. the above mention drugs can be smoked,swallowed and injected.

HEALTH HAZARDS

Blood pressure,anxiety,loss of appetite,stroke,violent behavior,
aggressiveness,panic,psychosis,mental disorder,nasal damages,
dental problems

KETAMINE ,PCP AND ANALOGS, SALVIA DIVINORUM, DEXTROMETHORPHAN DXM

These set of drugs are referred to as associative drugs and also very dangerous to human health. Associative drugs are known to attack its users rapidly and create an unusual feeling in them. Its wipes the memory minutes after administered. These drugs can be swallowed,smoked,injected and snorted by addicts

HEALTH HAZARDS

Memory loss,psychosis,confusion,euphoria,distorted vision,
numbness of the body,aggression,respiratory depression,
hallucinations and death

LSD, MESCALINE and PSILOCYBIN

These substances belong to what is known as HALLUCINOGENS. These substances can be swallowed,smoked and injected by addicts. It is also known by addicts as blue heaven,cubes,shrooms and cactus by its users. Its also very dangerous to health.

HEALTH HAZARDS

Mental disorder,nervousness,weakness,
blood pressure,sleeplessness,hallucination,
panic,aggressiveness

Drugs should be used according to a Doctor's prescription to avoid improper usage. Drugs use for medication should be used properly to avoid health hazards which might lead to death.
