It is common to use eye lens as a remedy to sight weakness. Sometimes, people use it as a fashion to look beautiful.But in absence of caution, the risk of serious infections and long-term damages increases. If you have been using lens since a long time and have not experienced any infection yet then you might be considering yourself a specialist but remember that at least for one time you put your eyes under risk while using the lens.Therefore, while using contact lens, you can keep yourself away from any infections or sight problems by following under mentioned cautions.

Save from Water:
The water of swimming pool, lake, sea or indoor is not free from germs, that is why the relationship between lens and water can prove to be a bad news.Most people do not realize that to take bath with the lens can be dangerous because the soft lens changes their shape due to water and thus provide space for germs production.
Don't Touch with wet hands:
It means the lens must be touched with dry hands, in fact, the contact lens should not be touched with anything which does not make for it.Use only that material which is only made for a contact lens.
Don't Fix Eye lens promptly after waking up in the morning:
It is recommended that the contact lens should not be fixed in eye immediately after waking up in the morning. Also kept in mind that don't fix lens while taking bath or washing face.

Avoid to Sleep With Lens
sleeping with the lens may cause infection in eyes. Such act may lead untoward reaction because, during the sleeping process, the eyes need oxygen whereas eyes will not get oxygen while sleeping with the lens in eyes.
Save from Dust:
Eyes are sensitive part of the body, it must be saved from even minor dust particles as dust will create an allergic problem in eyes.Therefore, the contact lens must be kept at neat and clean places.
Falling of Lens:
sometimes, the lens can fall from the eye. It is good that such lens should not be used promptly. The reason is that the lens may get scratches on it which can cause herpes in eyes.

Perhaps everyone wants to look attractive by using eye lens but above mentioned precautions must be kept in mind while using contact lens because EYES ARE A GREAT ASSET.
