In a study of seventy three,000 adults, most in their middle to higher 50s, vegetarians were twelve p.c less doubtless than carnivores to own died from any cause throughout the six-year study amount. The 2016 study, revealed in JAMA medical specialty, found that mortality rates were lowest overall for pesco-vegetarians (those WHO eat fish occasionally), followed by vegans (those WHO eat no animal products), and lacto-ovo vegetarians (those WHO eat dairy farm and eggs).
