Tupac vs Biggie
June 25, 2017
Today i'm going to talk about one of the biggest hip hop rivalries in history. To talk about this rivalry I need to talk about who these rappers where. Tupac shakur (signed by Death Row records) and The Notorious B.I.G (Bad boy records) these two influenced both coasts of the United States. Since both labels where from two sides of country and the labels already growing rivalry. When this rivalry started it quickly became the hottest rivalry in hip hop.
Tupac Shakure
Tupac Shakur I feel has the more interesting story, from his grandfather being apart of the black panther to gaining entrance into the rock and roll hall and fame in 201. Tupac was born in East Harlem, New York. In 1996 Tupac was signed by Death row Records although he was already a success, with his second album Strictly 4 my N.I.G.G.A.Z (reaching 24 on the top 200 billboard) and his track I Get Around which happened to rank #11 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100; being signed to a California based label and his love for california made him a influence in all of the west coast. Tupac sadly died September 13, 1996.
The Notorious B.I.G
The Notorious B.I.G was raised in Brooklyn, New York. Biggie dropped his debut album Ready to Die in 1994 he became a big rapper in the east coast. Biggie started the Junior M.A.F.I.A with childhood friends. Biggie smalls died in a drive by and 16 days later his double disc album Life After Death was certified diamond.
After Death both rappers greatly influenced hip hop and the world
R.I.P Tupac Shakure (June 16, 1971- September 13, 1996)

Vote and resteem for suggestions, questions or comments. PLEASE REPLY WHO YOU THINK IS BETTER. Thanks for reading
My vote would be Tupac, but the debate is kinda like asking who the better basketball player is, Patrick Ewing or Karl Malone... they are both good... but far from the best.
I'll let you decide who I am voting for.
Looking at Biggie's first song - "Party and Bullshit". Really analyse the style of Biggie's music.
Then Pac meets Biggie, and changes his style. He advices Biggie to sing for the women, and not for the men.
Have a watch of this video - and let me know your thoughts as to what you think?
