Blog about the Paradise Island; Mauritius ♥

Steemians, Mauritius is a country located in the Indian Ocean. We have a rich history. The island was ruled by Portugal, Arabia, Netherlands, France and England.

And in 1968, Mauritius got its independence and became a free country. I came across an old album with pictures dating from 1900 to 2000. These pictures alone show how great and colonialist the island was!

Since then, our country has developed drastically and major changes took place. However we will never forget our roots ♥
