My experience celebrating my mom's birthday at Terraza Steak House Restaurant

• Good afternoon hivers, I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday... I had long wanted to return to one of my favorite places, I had several years without visiting it, since it is a little far from my house. For several weeks we were thinking about where to celebrate my mom's birthday, I remembered that in this place the atmosphere was excellent, the food was very exquisite and the waiters stood out for their good service, crossing our fingers we decided to bet on this restaurant where my experience has always been good. When we entered the restaurant we asked if our pet Luna could come in and although it is not allowed the manager took us to an area where the tables were not occupied. Something I loved is that the place has several environments, we felt super comfortable because this area seemed to be a VIP area, the waiter offered us to sit in a super nice place where there was a three-seater sofa and several individual armchairs, the truth that looked very romantic and cozy, but when we sat down we felt that the sofa was too low for my mom, because of her scoliosis problem we preferred her to feel comfortable and we stayed at the table that the manager had suggested. My daughter decided to order a traditional mojito, I accepted the waiter's recommendation to try a Spanish red wine, something I loved was that he brought 3 small glasses of wine to the table, so that I could taste and decide which one I liked the most, my mom was not convinced by the waiter's suggestions and ordered a whiskey and soda. The price of the drinks are a little expensive, compared to other restaurants we have visited, where the mojitos usually cost 4 dollars, here they cost 7 dollars, but something good to highlight is that their flavor was exquisite: the mint was very fresh and the rum they use is of excellent quality. In this restaurant there is always live music, there is an outdoor terrace located on the top floor where you can dance, in this area there was a group singing a variety of music, the great thing is that being on the second floor we could enjoy the music without this being an impediment to be able to talk quietly. After enjoying several rounds of drinks we decided to order the menu, the gastronomy of this place is very varied, we all agreed to order a mixed grill, the waiter recommended us the house grill which is very complete, which consists of: chicken, beef, sausage, blood sausage, cassava and chops, to accompany it we ordered a Caesar salad, which is one of my mom's favorites. I was pleasantly surprised that the kitchen of this restaurant keeps intact the quality of all its dishes, as the food was VERY exquisite, the meat and the chop were super juicy and soft, the seasoning of the salad was succulent, for people who love Caesar salad know that it is not easy to get the perfect point of seasoning. As we had told the waiter that we were celebrating my mom's birthday, before bringing the bill he gave her a portion of moist chocolate sponge cake, although I have several months without consuming sugar I tried a small piece to check its quality and I must confess that the taste was very delicious! For people who live or are on vacation in Caracas I highly recommend this restaurant, it is located in the area of Las Mercedes, it is called “Terraza Steak House”.

• Buenas tardes hivers, espero estén pasando un magnífico domingo... Tenía tiempo deseando regresar a uno de mis lugares favoritos, tenía varios años sin visitarlo, ya que está un poco lejos de mi casa. Durante varias semanas estuvimos pensando donde celebrar el cumpleaños de mi mamá, recordé que en este local el ambiente era excelente, la comida era muy exquisita y los mesoneros se destacaban por su buena atención, cruzando los dedos decidimos apostar por este Restaurante en donde mi experiencia siempre fue buena. Al entrar al local preguntamos si nuestra mascota Luna podía pasar y a pesar de que no está permitido el gerente nos llevó a un área donde las mesas no estaban ocupadas. Algo que me encantó es que el lugar cuenta con varios ambientes, nos sentimos super cómodas porque esta área parecía ser una zona Vip, el mesonero nos ofreció sentarnos en un lugar super lindo en donde había un sofá de tres puestos y varias butacas individuales, la verdad que lucía muy romántico y acogedor, pero al sentarnos sentimos que el sofá era muy bajo para mi mamá , por su problema de escoliosis preferimos que se sintiera cómoda y nos quedamos en la mesa que el gerente nos había sugerido. Primero pedimos la carta de las bebidas, ya que la idea era brindar un buen rato por ese día tan especial, mi hija decidió pedir un mojito tradicional, yo acepté la recomendación del mesonero de probar un vino tinto español, algo que me encantó fue que trajo a la mesa 3 copitas de vino, para que yo degustara y decidiera cual me gustaba más, mi mamá no se dejó convencer por las sugerencias del mesonero y pidió un wiski con soda. El precio de las bebidas son un poco costosas, comparando con otros restaurantes que hemos visitado, en donde los mojitos suelen costar 4 dólares, aquí su precio fue de 7 dólares, pero algo bueno que destacar es que su sabor estaba exquisito: la yerbabuena muy fresca y el ron que utilizan es de excelente calidad. En éste Restaurante siempre hay música en vivo, hay una terraza al aire libre que está ubicada en la planta superior donde se puede bailar, en esta área había un grupo cantando música variada, lo genial es que al estar en la primera planta podíamos disfrutar de la música sin que esto fuera un impedimento para poder conversar con tranquilidad. Luego de disfrutar de varias rondas de tragos decidimos pedir el menú, la gastronomía de este local es muy variada, todas coincidimos en pedir una parrilla mixta, el mesonero nos recomendó la parrilla de la casa que es muy completa, la cual consta de: pollo, carne, chorizo, morcilla, yuca y chuleta, para acompañarla pedimos una ensalada César, que es una de las favoritas de mi mamá. Me llevé la grata sorpresa de que la cocina de este restaurante mantiene intacta la calidad de todos sus platillos, ya que la comida estaba MUY exquisita, la carne y la chuleta estaban con una textura super jugosa y blanda, el sazón de la ensalada estaba suculento, para las personas que aman la ensalada César saben que no es fácil conseguir el punto perfecto del sazón. Como le habíamos comentado al mesonero que estábamos celebrando el cumpleaños de mi mamá, antes de traer la cuenta le obsequió una ración de bizcocho húmedo de chocolate, a pesar de que tengo varios meses sin consumir azúcar probé un pequeño trocito para comprobar su calidad y les debo confesar que el sabor estaba muy delicioso! Para las personas que viven o están de vacaciones en caracas les recomiendo ampliamente este Restaurante, está ubicado en la zona de Las Mercedes, se llama "Terraza Steak House".
