Probando el Alcatra & Frango Empanado de "Good Life" [ESP-ENG]

Hace un par de meses nos fuimos al centro comercial Jockey Plaza despues del trabajo con unos compañeros, la idea era ir a alguna sala de juego para divertirnos y entre todas las opciones que conseguimos terminamos jugando Airsoft. Al terminar decidimos ir al área de la feria de comida para cenar y al llegar allí cada uno eligió una opción diferente de acuerdo a lo que quería comer.

A couple of months ago we went to the Jockey Plaza shopping center after work with some colleagues. The idea was to go to some game room to have fun and among all the options we found we ended up playing Airsoft. When we finished we decided to go to the food court area to have dinner and when we got there each one chose a different option according to what they wanted to eat.

En nuestro caso, Dani y yo sabíamos que comer y es que aunque habían bastantes opciones fui muy difícil decidirnos por una. Al final optamos por comer en un puesto llamado "Good Life" ya que nos llamó la atención el menú que mostraban en sus pantallas. Es un lugar especializado en preparar la comida a la plancha y tenían diferentes opciones para elegir.

In our case, Dani and I knew what to eat and although there were plenty of options, it was very difficult to decide on one. In the end we opted to eat at a place called "Good Life" because the menu they showed on their screens caught our attention. It is a place specialized in preparing food on the grill and they had different options to choose from.

Tomamos un menú del mostrador para ver más detalladamente todo lo que ofrecían y como no nos decidiamos entre carne o pollo elegimos una opción mixta llamada Alcatra & Frango empanado que incluía carne, que es lo que se refiere al alcatra, que es un corte de carne bovina, y frango empanado que es pollo empanizado. Además incluía también una poción de papas fritas, todo por un valor de R$73.98 (unos 12.71$ aproximadamente).

We took a menu from the counter to see in more detail everything they offered and since we couldn't decide between beef or chicken we chose a mixed option called Alcatra & Frango empanado that included beef, which is what alcatra is called, which is a cut of beef, and frango empanado which is breaded chicken. It also included a portion of fries, all for a cost of R$73.98 (approximately $12.71).

Cuando nos decidimos por esta opción del menú nos acercamos a la caja para hacer nuestro pedido y pagar por el, además pedimos también una Coca Cola de 600 ml para acompañar. La atención fue bastante rápida pese a que había gente en la fila, solo tuvimos que esperar unos 10 minutos aproximadamente para recibir nuestro pedido y teniéndolo ya en manos nos fuimos en busca de una mesa para sentarnos a comer.

When we decided on this option from the menu we went to the cashier to place our order and pay for it, and we also ordered a 600 ml Coca Cola to accompany it. The service was quite fast despite the fact that there were people in the queue, we only had to wait approximately 10 minutes to receive our order and with it in our hands we went in search of a table to sit down and eat.

La comida fue servida en una pequeña plancha caliente y con un par de salsas extra para acompañar. Todo estaba realmente delicioso y lo mejor es que fue preparado al momento, la carne estaba muy jugosa y suave con un sabor único, el pollo por su parte estaba crocante y delicioso y las papas fritas ni hablar. Realmente nos gustó mucho la comida en este lugar, además el precio fue más que bueno para la cantidad de comida con la que comimos ambos quedando satisfechos, por lo que sin duda volveríamos allí en otra oportunidad.

The food was served on a small hot plate and with a couple of extra sauces to accompany it. Everything was really delicious and the best thing is that it was prepared at the moment, the meat was very juicy and soft with a unique flavor, the chicken on the other hand was crispy and delicious and the fries were amazing. We really liked the food at this place, plus the price was more than good for the amount of food we ate and we were both satisfied, so we would definitely go back there another time.
