DreamWorks Pictures introduces its movies with this short animation of a boy sitting on the moon and fishing in a body of water (perhaps symbolic of the subconscious mind where dreams are born), presumably on the Earth.
It's true that it's only on Earth that we know Solar Eclipse can happen but that also be probably because we haven't tested the same with moons on the other planet.

The Truman Show - In the movie The Truman Show (the True Man show), Truman Burbank's whole life in "Seahaven" is staged and phoney. His whole world, including the sun and moon, is a gigantic set inside a large dome controlled from the moon.

I had read it earlier too somewhere about Moon having rocks on it that's actually older than the ones on Earth or Earth itself which is kind of something that makes you ponder about the whole thing.
On one hand, you could consider it and there are possibilities of many of these including the moon bit to be true but do we really know or rather it could all not be too, right?
Yet keeping my mind open..
