El encuentro con Orlando Pelichoti, el talentoso artista plástico argentino, fue una experiencia que quedará grabada en mi memoria. Fue en la XV Bienal de La Habana, un evento que reúne a artistas de todo el mundo, donde tuve la oportunidad de sumergirme en su fascinante mundo artístico.

Pelichoti presentó su serie "Fractales", una obra que captura la esencia de la mujer trabajadora y los niños de Argentina. Realizada sobre partituras de piano encontradas en la ciudad del Vaticano, intervenida con elementos de la naturaleza, como caolines, arcillas y pigmentos vegetales.

Desde el primer momento en que vi sus obras, me sentí atraída por sus fotografías que parecían cobrar vida. Cada pieza era un reflejo del amor del artista por la naturaleza y su entorno. La serie "Fractales" no solo es visualmente impactante, sino que también invita a una profunda reflexión sobre la vida del artista y el medio donde vive..

Lo que hizo este encuentro aún más especial fue la oportunidad de involucrar a mis niños del taller de creación en esta experiencia artística. Desde el inicio del proyecto, los niños estaban emocionados por conocer a un artista de renombre y aprender de él.
Orlando nos dictó un taller en la Casa de Cultura Joseito Fernández de La Habana, donde fue increíblemente accesible y generoso al compartir su proceso creativo.
La intervención en las obras fue un momento mágico. Utilizando elementos extraídos de la naturaleza y crayones,comenzaron a explorar su propia creatividad mientras se inspiraban en el trabajo. La idea era que pudieran expresarse, recrearse en cada partitura de la obra de Pelichoti que formaba como un rompecabezas y todas juntas, al final, formaban la imagen de un niño.

La risa y la emoción llenaron el espacio mientras cada uno se sumergía en el proceso artístico. Ver cómo los niños aplicaban las diferentes técnicas sobre las partituras y se expresaban fue un regalo para mí. Cada trazo representaba una conexión personal con lo que habían aprendido y visto durante ese encuentro. Algunos eligieron imprimir hojas grandes, mientras que otros optaron por flores más pequeñas, creando composiciones únicas que reflejaban su individualidad.

Orlando se movía entre los niños, brindando consejos y palabras de aliento. Su pasión era contagiosa; no solo les enseñó sobre arte, sino también sobre la importancia de cuidar nuestro entorno natural y sobre los materiales que utilizamos que pueden tener un impacto significativo en nuestro planeta y cómo cada pequeño gesto cuenta.

Al final del taller, se hizo una exposición reflejando el trabajo en conjunto . La alegría en los rostros de los niños era inigualable; habían creado algo hermoso y significativo. Agradecieron a Orlando por su tiempo y dedicación, mientras él les recordaba que el arte es una forma poderosa de expresión y conexión.

Este encuentro no solo fue un intercambio artístico; fue una celebración de la creatividad infantil y un recordatorio del papel fundamental que juega el arte en nuestras vida ; un viaje transformador para mis niños y para mí misma. La combinación del arte contemporáneo con la inocencia infantil creó un espacio donde todos pudimos aprender y crecer juntos .

🇬🇧The meeting with Orlando Pelichoti, the talented Argentine plastic artist, was an experience that will remain etched in my memory. It was at the XV Biennial of Havana, an event that brings together artists from around the world, where I had the opportunity to immerse myself in his fascinating artistic world.

🇬🇧Pelichoti presented his series "Fractals," a work that captures the essence of the working woman and children of Argentina. Created on found piano sheet music from the Vatican City, it was intervened with elements from nature, such as kaolins, clays, and vegetable pigments.

🇬🇧From the very first moment I saw his works, I felt drawn to them as if they were photographs coming to life. Each piece was a reflection of the artist's love for nature and his surroundings. The "Fractals" series is not only visually striking but also invites deep reflection on how natural patterns repeat in our lives.

🇬🇧What made this encounter even more special was the opportunity to involve my children from the creation workshop in this artistic experience. From the beginning of the project, the kids were excited to meet a renowned artist and learn from him. Orlando held a workshop at Casa de Cultura Joseito Fernández in Havana, where he was incredibly approachable and generous in sharing his creative process with the children.
