Not too much action on the mid-week European Matches but I still managed to make a tiny profit. The main trend continues to be that the market trend pretty much predicts the winner and you don't want to go against in unless the line move extends in-game a bit too much. Today, week 10 already starts in the league and after this week there will be another international break.

AA Gent vs Charleroi

AA Gent has been one of the teams that I have backed blindly in the last 3 weeks and they did well on them against their asian handicap. That said, their form in their last 2 away games despite the good results was not as good as I anticipated and hoped. This said, I still belief that they are growing into a competitive team that easily should make it into playoff 1. Charleroi had a couple key players (Guiagon & Titraoui) missing against Mechelen making them play with a very young midfield and they ended up with a 0-2 loss as Mechelen was efficient on the counters. They seem to be a team who are better when they don't need to make the play and they fail to really create much when they are behind and need to push. If they take the lead, they also tend to crawl back. Today they are still without Guiagon buth otherwise have an ok team. I continue having a lean on AA Gent but at the same time after the last 2 away matches where they stayed below their potential I'm rather cautious. I was willing to take a 0.4 units pre-game bet on AA Gent -0.25 @ 1.822 as I have done well on them in the past weeks and I like to have a team I think potentially underrated to back week after week until the line adjusts. If Charleroi was take the lead, I expect them to crawl back again and I might have a shot at AA Gent at the corners handicap. If AA Gent shows to be the better team, I might add on my stake also.
