Thursday went pretty well with 0.6 units of profit from the 5 matches even though I didn't have any major bets. 3 more matches before the end of the winter break which actually are 2 because of the broadcast schedule.

OH Leuven vs Beerschot

OHL hasn't really changed a lot after their coach change as they remain a team who don't give much away while having issues scoring themselves. It makes them the king of draws with 10 so far this season and a 12.5W-4.5L-2P on their under lines. I keep thinking that at some point they will need to take a bit more risk and play more attacking but until I see it I will not be taking any risks gambling on the over. Last week against Cercle they lost with a 1-0 score because of a last second penalty and attacks from both teams were more up to good luck instead of actual played out chances. Beerschot isn't as bad as they were at the start of the season but they still lack sheer quality. They were lucky to get away with a 2-2 draw against Kortrijk at home. The main question for me is if they plan to go for it (which they pretty much need to do) which would play into the strength of OHL who like to counter or if they are going to build a wall and hope to get a counter in and win with 0-1. OHL is the team with more quality and they should mark this as a match where they finally break the draw streak and take a win. I'm just going to wait and see what it brings. I don't really want ti bet over on OHL and I don't really want to bet under on Beerschot. No Pre-Game Bets

Anderlecht vs Dender

Anderlecht really disappointed against Genk last week missing the drive and playing way too defensive similar to what happened to Genk away in Brugge. They are ok defensively but their defenders are poor offensively getting the play going. This left them with just not much use for the quality they have in the attack. They have been hit by many injuries but some are on the verge of returning (Hazard, Vertongen) and they are already on the bench today. It all remains to be seen what Anderlecht shows up today and more importantly if they can find the goal early. Dender has shown to be a team capable to building a defensive wall but away against a top team it's something else with scores of 4-1 vs brugge / 1-1 vs Antwerp / 4-0 Genk / 1-2 AA Gent. So either they manage to take something or get crushed. These matches also ended in a combined 29-8 corners score. The latest reference match against Brugge they were actually not as bad as the score and their points suggested and took the lead showing they can make it hard for the team that has to score. The moment they have to go for it late in a match and give space away they become extremely vulnerable. So I fully expect Dender to start out building a wall and Anderlecht needing some luck to score the first goal while they have to avoid the counters. I did take 0.16 units on Anderlecht 1H -1.25 corners @ 1.900 and would be more willing to back the home team at a better price or once they take the lead.

Sint-Truiden vs Cercle Brugge

Cercle Brugge is in their final match of a very busy schedule as they didn't get a break with the extra Conference League match. They are currently in 13th place below where they should be and on a good streak. In the match against Leueven they mainly struggled to get something going offensively and Brunner also got injured. Stvv is now in a really bad streak with 3 losses in a row while things looked a bit better at first after the coach change. They lost deserved away against Charleroi but at the same time managed to keep it close. They generally also do better at home on their artificial pitch. Againt top teams they tend to build a wall but I'm not comfortable to say they won't go all out today against Cercle which likely would be the smart thing to do exploiting the fatigue factor. 3 of their last 4 matches were against top teams. I have no real opinion on this one and am just keeping it at No Pre-Game Bets
