It was an ugly day yesterday for Tottenham, with two red cards and their main men picking up injuries during the match.

Dejan Kulusevski's scoring put Tottenham in front in the sixth minute (6') of the game. Chelsea scored two goals that were ruled out by VAR, one was a foul and the other was offside.

During the build-up to the second goal, Cristian Romero made a nasty tackle on Enzo Fernandez, an unprofessional act that led to his sending off and awarded a penalty kick. The penalty kick was successfully converted by Cole Palmer for Chelsea in the thirty-fifth minute (35').

The game was level, and Tottenham's downfall began with a red card. To make matters worse, two of Tottenham's best players, Micky van de Ven and James Maddison, sustained injuries in the extra minutes of halftime.

The second half began, and after ten minutes of play, Tottenham experienced another horrendous moment with Iyenoma Udogie receiving a second yellow card and being sent off. As a result, Tottenham were down to nine men.

At that moment, everybody knew the game was now in favor of Chelsea and expected Chelsea to take advantage and exploit their lead with goals, which they did, but later than expected.

It was a sad moment for all the Tottenham players, fans, and coach. And many have speculated that Tottenham's successful period might be over after losing their first match this season to Chelsea with red cards and injuries.
