It really annoys me when Sadio Mane is overlooked and all the praises goes to Mohamed Salah. Mane does not receive enough credit for his hard work on the pitch, instead Mohamed Salah is seen as the better player.
Mane is a player that gives in 100% in every match, he is a very skillful and selfless player he has showed it time and time again, but his hard works are constantly being overlooked.
Mane's excellent performance in his first season in Liverpool was the main reason they qualified for the Champions League at the end of that season, which was why Klopp was able to attract players like Mohamed Salah, Van Dijk, Fabinho and Alisson Becker. Mane's great performances was the key factor in Jurgen klopp's rebuilding of the team.
Mohamed Salah came in and had one excellent season then boom, till date his still seen as a very good player than Sadio Mane who has been giving a great performance in every season he played.
Sadio Mane is always the hardest worker on the pitch of play but sadly all the credit goes to Salah. His departure from Liverpool will surely open the eyes of many who underrated his hard works.
His performance this season is also being overlooked by many, Karim Benzema just scored a hat trick in 2 Champions League games and to many he now deserves the Golden Ball, while Sadio Mane who has won a lot of trophies this season banging in a lot of goals and also reaching the Champions League final does not stand a chance to win the Golden Ball. The way he is constantly being overlooked truly annoys me, if he isn't the most underrated player I don't know who is.
I don't know why he's being underrated this much. He's been paid less in that club but yet he's committed and doing great. I hope they reach a better agreement though.
Maybe he is but the bigger players always get the accolades. Benzema has made more impact with Real Madrid than Mane has with Liverpool this season. Post needs to be longer to receive extra rewards as a 2 minute read doesn't justify the vote. Please bear that in mind next time as value as in effort has also got to be represented.
