I am the Account Manager for the Rising Star Game Account of the Oneup-Cartel, so this post is about my weekly progress on playing the game! The Oneup-Cartel is a very active gaming community on the Hive blockchain. 😄

I totally forgot about this post last week. Sorry about that! Right now to be honest, I am trying to work a bit less and go more outside, enjoying the beautiful weather. I want to manage to just work fulltime like a "normal" person at some point. 😄 No more work after 7pm or on the weekends. But it´s still a long way to go to get there. But I am making progress. 😉
Rising Star is a P2E game on the Hive blockchain where you start as a lowly busker and work your way up to stardom. You can either invest money in to to speed up your progress - by buying cardpacks or cards from the ingame market - or also start playing without any investing any money. That´s what I really like about the game, that everyone has a chance to play and can make great progress. Not only the people who can invest money in it.
This game might not seem to be complicated at first glance, but it has alot of tactical elements to it, which - I can see that in the community - most people don´t really have a clue about. But to maximize your earnings (and I think the ROI of the game is really good), you need to understand and play these tactics.
FAN CLUB
In my last post I already explained how to get STARPRO, the second currency in Rising Star. STARPRO can be used for a few minor functions in the game. You don´t really have to use them in order to make a good profit. In the first place, it will help you to get more uniques, which you need for the ranking on the leaderboard. With my Raven account I am already rank 49. 🎉 It´s not important to be high in the leaderboard, but if you make it under the top 100, you get a little bit of Hive each day. On rank 49, I get 0,21Hive per day. That is not much, but hey, it stacks up. 😊
This function is very easy to handle. It can be found under SPECIAL MISSIONS -> Promote Fan Club.
All you need to do is, start this mission. It will cost you 0.024 STARPRO, 60 minutes and 80% energy. You need to have 300 fans and level 20 to be able to do this.
For doing this mission a certain times, you will get special cards. You can see how many times you need to do it to get the next card under the Achievements tab.
In total, you can get 28 different cards, and you can only get rewarded only once with each card. But you can buy them on the market also. Only if someone is willing to sell them of course. So if you want to, you can also sell your cards. But I would think about this, because you can never earn them through this mission again.
As you can see, I haven´t really done this mission many times yet, because for my personal account I am still doing a different tactics right now, which I need a few more weeks for, and then I will start making one Fan Club Mission each day. This means, it will almost take 2 years until I earned all cards here. Well, I might speed up the process later on maybe. But right now, my playing time is too valuable for me to put it into this mission.
The cards have stats like normal cards in the game.
So that means it´s not only for your leaderboard but you also earn stack up some fans and skill through getting the cards.
If your starbits earnings are still very small because you are quite in the beginning of the game, I would recommend doing this mission maybe once or twice a day.
Because you don´t lose so much earnings during that time. And you stack up some fans and skill. But as I said before, all the STARPRO functions right now are just "nice-to-have", but not a "must-do" feature. So it´s really up to you if you wanna "waste" time in these functions, or just ignore them completely.

Like last week, not much to say about the cartel´s account. I am still not buying any card packs or cards, but stacking up my Starbits until I have 1 Million. Right now, it will look good, that I reach them about the same time I will reach level 50. I also invested into some swap-pools in the beginning to stack up more Starbits.
In my next post, I will make a detailed report and will tell you about my investing strategy for this account.

Do you know if there is any other use for Fan Club cards, I read somewhere those will be used in some special use cases in future but could not find any info

I don´t know about any other functions right now. There are alot of things planned for future stuff, but Jux is quite secretive about these. So I doubt that there is any info on it right now. :D

Yay, we are getting closer to 50! What about all these cool new cards from various people? Are there some we should pick up from the market?
Which cards exactly do you mean? If we wanna stack up our uniques, I would say: YES, pick up every card you can! :D But the priority number one is getting 1 Million Starbits first. That´s why I won´t invest anything in cards. And after I get the card, I will reinvest all I earn in stacking up my cards for a few month, before I would start to withdraw earnings.
It is probably a good idea to own a copy of each card, as long it is available and affordable. Something to works toward. But yes, let's crack the 1 Million Starbits first.
It definitely is a good idea. But cards got crazy expensive. I wish I nearly had all the cards with my own account. :D But yes, as soon as the million is there, I will start buying the cheap cards.

It depends how far you are in the game. So it could be that it doesn´t make too much sense to spend time on these missions. But you have to evaluate this yourself.
