The fear of uncertainty

Greetings!

One of the things that kills fast in life is FEAR. Fear which is caused by unpleasant feelings of danger or threat is one thing that should not be permitted or giving any chance in ones life. Apart from the fact that it kills, fear can also destroy or wreck havoc on the journey to success of the person that take fear as his or her companion. Fear makes one to tremble, it makes ones to be stagnant.

Also, fear makes one not to fulfill his dream or vision. It has not positive effect on human lives. Fear makes one loses confidence in oneself, instead of having confidence and courage to succeed, the reverse will be the case and the reverse can only be inferiority complex and lack of confidence. So, fear is a bad thing.

So, when talking about fear, fear will not come into ones life alone, it comes with so many things. Like I have mentioned earlier, fear comes with sickness, death, inferiority complex, lack of confidence, uncertainty just to mention but a few. The most serious thing that accompanies fear is unknown. The fear of the unknown.

Hmmm! Fear of the unknown has really affected alot of people, it has stopped people from moving forward, its actually terminated the destiny of many people in the destiny journey and if care is not taking, it kills faster than anything under the planet earth.

Long time ago, when the fear of the unknown crept into my life, I was nowhere to be found. This event happened or let me say started the day I lost my mum. On that particular day, I didn't really know what to do and it's as if the world is over. My mum being my.sole benefactor died after a brief illness, so, it was not a life.i have ever planned for, but it happened so soon.

So, as a result of her demise, I was not so sure of what the future would be for me, I was like how am I going to live my life. The only thing I saw ahead of me was a blur future full of uncertainty. Hmmm, this act seriously let me down. And this is where fear of the unknown began to crept into my life.
This fear really led me to taking series of steps. Because of this fear, all the steps I took were accompanied with mistakes which has led me to where I am today, thank God I'm now trying to rise above the occasion and channel my life to the right path.

The first step i took in that year was to join a contribution where I was walking as a casual worker then. I join the contribution because of the fear of the unknown that, very soon I would be back to school and that there's nobody to sponsor my education through the university. So, for this reason, I decided to join the contributors both at church and in the place of work, but lol.and behold, things did not work as planned, as the both contributions shattered when it was my turn to cash out my money. This was so painful just because what I have planned for because of the fear of the unknown could not even materialized. But do you know that man proposes and God disposes. So, my own proposition was out of the fear of the unknown and nothing came out of it. If not for a a friend of my dad that came through for me, I would not have gone to the university at all. THE FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN.

Another incident that happened was after my university education, after I have spent four years of my life in the university, in my final year to be precise, another fear of the unknown crept into my life. Thank God I have someone who has really helped and supported me through my higher education. But the question was tha, would he continue from where he has stopped? This was the question I was asking myself and I couldn't find any answer to the question. So, as I could not find answer to the question, I decided to venture all I have made through my savings into a business, but before then, I called the man who has been assisting to know if he could be of help, but his response was that I should go and start the business with my little capital and that if the business booms, he would join hand with me to move the business forward.

So, I tried to give the business a shot, with the hope of a huge turn over with the business being a foodstuff business and I believe people will always eat everyday. I decided to do the business then just because of the fear of the unknown that, what would I and my family be eating after school if I don't work or do business. So, after months of starting the business with the fear of if the business would succeed, everything went wrong and the business collapsed, A business I started with almost 925k ended in ruin without me taking anything out of the business.

So, since then, it has been hard to start another business or project again and this is because of the fear of failing again. The fear of the unknown has not totally departed from my life and like I said in the the introduction, the fear of the unknown can only make one standstill without any progress. But now, my plan is to fight this fear to a stand still so as to move forward in life.i have been a victim of the fear of the unknown, but I'm very sure i will rise again.

One thing is that, this fear of the unknown is a natural and general thing which everybody will face in his or her lifetime. But the only solution is to face it squarely. Like someone used to say, the best form of defense is to attack. Face your fear of the unknown today, attack it today and you will conquer.

The fear of the unknown isreally, so attack it before it destroys you.
