Hello Hiveans! I hope everyone is happy, healthy and in peace wherever you are. The pea is most commonly used in the Fried Rice, mixed vegetables and beef stew recipe in the Malay cooking world. For this challenge I want to add the delicious green peas into my favorite Chicken Masala Recipe. You can eat it with any type of flat breads or simply eat with rice for a delicious family meal. And here is my take on this 'Peas' Challenge for this week's Top Chef Cooking contest and I hope you will like it.
Chicken Masala With Peas
Ingredients
1 Whole Chicken
2 Onions Chopped
4 Tomatoes Chopped
2 cups green peas
1 lemon
2 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 tablespoon crushed ginger
1 tablespoon crushed garlic
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon garam masala
1 teaspoon salt
6 Green chilies
Coriander leaves
METHODS
Marinate the chicken: Squeeze lemon juice into the chicken inside a bowl, add salt and chili powder. Mix well and leave to marinate for 20 minutes.
Prepare and chopped all vegetables.
Heat oil in a pan, then fry the onions until brown. Remove from pan and set aside.
Using the same oil, add garlic.
Add ginger and stir well.
Add chicken, mix well and leave to cook with lid on for 15 minutes.
Add tomatoes, mix well and leave to cook with lid on for 5 minutes.
Add coriander powder and mix well.
Add garam masala, mix well and leave to cook with lid on for 5 minutes.
Add fried onions, mix well and leave to cook for 5 minutes.
Add peas, and butter, mix well and leave to cook for 5 minutes..
Finally, add green chilies and coriander leaves. Mix well.
Wala! A Healthy Breakfast Set, Chicken Fry Masala With Peas served with flat bread sprinkled with coriander leaves.

Hi @ainie.kashif. Delicious-looking dish for the chicken. I particularly like chicken dishes due to my diet regime. And you used one of my favorite spices, Tumeric. I understand it's healthy for you in addition to creating a nice flavor and color for chicken.

Yes, just never lose your hope, keep on trying plus lots of prays, God willing everything will turn out the best and the right thing will always happen at the right time. Throughout my own experience it always does, keep on hoping, believing that you have done your best and let the Lord arrange the best thing for you.
