Oil paint effect

Hola chicos, muy buenas noches.
Hoy por fin me anime a hacer un maquillaje artístico, fue realmente difícil decidir qué hacer, he tenido demasiados colapsos mentales para esto últimamente jajaja, pero al final quise hacer un maquillaje con efecto oleo sobre mi rostro y cuello, aunque parezca que es sencillo o algunos pensaran que solo es “mezclar colores random” realmente no fue asi, intente escoger tonos marrones, rosas, blanco y azules, esos fueron los principales, como tonos secundarios use amarillos, verdes y rojos, es bastante complicado ya que debes darle forma al rostro siguiendo esta especie de sombras y luces como si realmente estuvieses pintando, lo único que podría decir que facilita un poco el trabajo es que no tienes que hacer boceto del rostro, solo pintar, esta vez quise un efecto bastante rustico y por eso trabaje únicamente con ayuda de dos espátulas mezcladoras de pintura, me gusto el resultado por que me recuerda a muchos de esos retratos con ese efecto oleo que veo en Pinterest, por eso tambien añadir tantos colores, ya que he visto algunos con solo paleta de tonos piel y otros más coloridos, yo decidí usar lo colorido por que siento que de esta forma trabajaría mejor y menos complicado, en fin, espero que les guste.

Proceso

• Para comenzar como siempre, limpie e hidrate mi rostro, decidí trabajar solamente con espátulas de pintura, siento que asi iba a conseguir un resultado mas fiel a esa textura de óleo, empecé a mezclar marrón con blanco, marrón con blanco y rosa, marrón con amarillo y blanco, hice tantas mezclas que ahora mismo no las recuerdo todas, necesitaba muchos tonos para comenzar a pintar mi piel, empecé por la frente, añadiendo el tono mas claro en el centro seguido de rosas y luego marrones mas oscuros, use azul para el borde derecho de mi rostro, tambien pinte con amarillos y rojo, intente añadir sombras en las partes donde debería haber mas profundidad como en el contorno de la nariz, con blanco, pinte las luces asi como en los parpados, punta de la nariz, centro de la frente, barbilla, para mis mejillas aplique rosa y luego rojo, quería un color muy fuerte en las mejillas y el rojo era perfecto.

• Termine de rellenar todo el rostro, me sentía algo incomoda por que mi pintura corporal es a base de aceite, procedí a sellar todo con polvo traslucido y se sentía un poco mas cómodo, pinte mis labios igualmente dando luces con blanco y un poco de oscuridad en el centro con un tono marrón oscuro, luego pinte el cuello usando la mayoría de colores que utilice en el rostro, esta parte no la hice con tanto cuidado ya que realmente lo importante era el rostro, termine este maquillaje pintando las cejas y agregando un delineado negro muy sutil en los ojos.

Today I finally decided to do an artistic makeup, it was really hard to decide what to do, I've had too many mental breakdowns for this lately hahaha, but in the end I wanted to do a makeup with oil effect on my face and neck, although it seems that it is simple or some may think it's just “mixing random colors” it really wasn't. I tried to choose brown, pink, white and blue tones, those were the main ones, as secondary tones I used yellows, greens and reds, it is quite complicated because you have to give shape to the face following this kind of shadows and lights as if you were really painting, the only thing that I could say that makes the work a little easier is that you don't have to sketch the face, just paint, this time I wanted a quite rustic effect and that's why I worked only with the help of two paint mixing spatulas, I liked the result because it reminds me of many of those portraits with that oil effect that I see on Pinterest, that's also why I add so many colors, since I have seen some with only skin tones palette and others more colorful, I decided to use the colorful because I feel that this way I would work better and less complicated, anyway, I hope you like it.

Process

• To start as always, clean and moisturize my face, I decided to work only with paint spatulas, I feel that way I was going to get a result more faithful to that oil texture, I started mixing brown with white, brown with white and pink, brown with yellow and white, I did so many mixtures that right now I don't remember them all, I needed many tones to start painting my skin, I started with the forehead, adding the lightest tone in the center followed by pinks and then darker browns, I used blue for the right edge of my face, I also painted with yellows and red, I tried to add shadows in the parts where there should be more depth like in the contour of the nose, with white, I painted the highlights as well as in the eyelids, tip of the nose, center of the forehead, chin, for my cheeks I applied pink and then red, I wanted a very strong color in the cheeks and the red was perfect.

• I finished filling the whole face, I felt a little uncomfortable because my body paint is oil based, I proceeded to seal everything with translucent powder and it felt a little more comfortable, I painted my lips also giving lights with white and a little darkness in the center with a dark brown tone, then I painted the neck using most of the colors I used on the face, this part I did not do so carefully because the important thing was really the face, I finished this makeup painting the eyebrows and adding a very subtle black eyeliner in the eyes.
