The brand Shellwe Makeup released a new all matte palette with 2 creams. The brand is quite popular in China and I can see the reason why. Their formula is easily one of my favorites because they're so easy to use.

With any matte eyeshadow look, I find it quite challenging because you can't just cover it up with shimmers haha so you gotta blend it well. Honestly I'm quite confident with using this brand with mattes because they are easy to blend. It's not a skill issue either, I have tried other brands and they can really get patchy despite the same level of skill I have using this one.

To achieve this look, I used a fluffy blending brush and applied this shade as a transition.

I then used the lightest shade for under the brow and under the lashes. I find it almost necessary now to apply eyeshadow under the eyes too cos it feels weird just having color on the eyelids. :p

Then this shade to apply at the outer lids for depth.

I'm feeling like having a bold color so I added the orange on the inner corners and blended it all the way down as well. I think it became darker on my lids because of the primer... OR I need to apply a white or light concealer to really get that vibrant color. :D

My favorite part is applying this cream. :D It's a metallic shade and quite similar to a lipstick texture.

Then I used the lightest shade again on the inner corners.

After applying black eyeliner on my waterline, the transition looked really sharp between the black and the light blue so I added the dark purple so it would be a soft transition.

Then I added the rest of the colors on my face. :P
Eyebrow powder from a Filipino brand called Strokes and I really like it and it lasts the whole day.
Blush and lip clay from Kaleidos.

Here's the final look. Honestly reminded me of Orochimaru from Naruto right after haha. Oh and ignore the obvious amateur wearing of the wig as you can see on the forehead that it's obvious. It's really a bummer cos I really like this wig. I just don't know how to style it properly yet but also kinda want to focus on makeup first. :P

Eyeshadow is definitely my weak spot 😫
Most of the time I just blend similar shades together and hope for the best 😂😭

Yeah it's not easy especially with darker shades huhu it really needs a good blending. One thing I realized is to practice before you wash your face (and not before you go out). In that way, there will be no worries haha

Matte shadows can be so tricky, but you made it look effortless.

So tricky indeed. I'm glad I'm confident with it now but before I really just put shimmers on top to cover the ugly blending hahah. Thank you!

You need to become more white to look like orochimaru lol finally I get to see straight hairs!

Nah I'm not aiming for a cosplay makeup xD

As a rock lover in totally love this make up and it's good on your skin 💕💕

Thank you! :D

Oh, even brushes has important role in make ups ha, that's why they comes in all styles and texture. The make up styles is like a villain make up, now that you mention Orochimaru, yeah, it looks similar, not the color but the style and the way you put them on. And what if you put a yellow contact? Is it yellow or orange 🤔, something like this.

Even the quality of brushes matter 😩 yeah the style and the overall vibes look like it is inspired from that. Yellow I think? Like snake haha
