Cloud-shaped eyeshadow |Makeup mistakes

Hey dear beauty friends, I hope you are great, today I bring with me a disastrous makeup rescuing some of my photos today, this time I want to highlight the mistakes I made in my attempt to replicate a Pinterest makeup, being honest this is a preshower makeup, I had fun doing it, but I also got frustrated with the finish ;(, this is a blog where I mention the flaws to avoid these mistakes in the future and get something positive out of the disaster haha.

Hola queridos amigos de la belleza, espero estén genial, hoy traigo conmigo un maquillaje desastroso rescatando algunas de mis fotos de hoy, en esta oportunidad deseo destacar los errores que cometí en mi intento de replicar un maquillaje de Pinterest, siendo sincera este es un preshower makeup, me divertí haciéndolo, pero también me frustre con el acabado ;(, esta es un blog donde menciono los defectos para evitar estos errores en el futuro y sacar algo positivo del desastre jaja.

Step by step

1. First I did the usual I applied peach colored pre-concealer, light concealer and foundation, blended with a damp sponge.

1. Primero hice lo de costumbre apliqué pre corrector color durazno, corrector claro y base, difuminé con esponja húmeda.

1. I combed my eyebrows and painted with black pencil, smudged the beginning of them.

1. Peiné mis cejas y pinté con lápiz negro, difuminé el principio de las mismas.

1. For the eyes I wanted to do that eye makeup with cloud-shaped shadow, I started by applying intense pink shadow and this is where we started with the problems, because instead of setting the shadow limit or proceeding with a smaller smudging brush, I used a large smudger brush and I couldn't control the product so initially I did a pink shadow on the whole eyelid and part of the socket, without making that "cloud" shape I wanted, then I had to use some makeup remover and concealer, after this I tried to make the cloud shape with a slightly smaller smudger brush.

Para los ojos quise hacer ese maquillaje de ojos con sombra en forma de nube, comencé aplicando sombra rosa intensa y por aquí empezamos con los problemas, ya que en vez de establecer el límite de la sombra o proceder con una brocha de difuminado más pequeña, usé una brocha de difuminar grande y no pude controlar el producto por lo que inicialmente hice un sombreado rosa en todo el párpado móvil y parte de la cuenca, sin hacer esa forma de "nube" que deseaba, entonces me vi en la tarea de usar algo de desmaquillante y corrector, después de esto intenté hacer la forma de nube con brocha de difuminar un poco más pequeña.

When I got the cloud shape with the shading and applied a little bit of lighter pink shimmery shadow in the tear trough area, I started to blend with this pink shadow on the lower eyelid, when it was time to apply the white eyeliner, I ran into another of my mistakes and that was not realizing that my white eyeliner is dry, I tend to check and order the products to use before starting the makeup, as you can notice this was not the case today and I got this surprise, so I replaced the white eyeliner with the yellow one, turns out it was not one of the best combinations 😑 so I used a light pink eyeliner to outline the cloud and the three "raindrops". I then applied mascara.

Al lograr la forma de nube con el sombreado y aplicar un poco de sombra rosa más clara brillosa en la zona del lagrimal, comencé a difuminar con esta sombra rosa el párpado inferior, cuando llegó el momento de aplicar el delineador blanco, me tope con otro de mis errores y fue no percatarme que mi delineador blanco está seco, tiendo a revisar y ordenar los productos a usar antes de empezar el maquillaje, como pueden notar este no fue el caso hoy y me llevé esta sorpresa, entonces reemplacé el delineador blanco con el amarillo, resulta ser que no fue de las mejores combinaciones 😑 así que usé un delineador rosa claro para delinear la nube y las tres "gotas de lluvia". Después apliqué máscara de pestañas.

1. I applied loose powder on my face and pink blush on my cheekbones and cheeks.

1. Apliqué polvo suelto por el rostro y rubor rosa sobre pómulos y mejillas.

1. I applied a soft nude pink lipstick over the lips and pink gloss lipstick over it.

1. Apliqué un labial rosa nude suave sobre los labios y labial gloss rosa sobre este.

This is the result and although it was not like the reference makeup we could say that it is curious, I could say that I learned not to despair when blurring, that it is better to correct imperfections using makeup remover before and then the concealer just on the area to be covered to not generate patches of makeup, also not to break with the habit of checking the products, I also have to practice drawing clouds. 🤣 ☁️

Este es el resultado y aunque no quedó como el maquillaje de referencia podríamos decir que está curioso, podría decir que aprendí a no desesperarme al difuminar, que es mejor corregir las imperfecciones usando previamente el desmaquillante y después el corrector justo sobre la zona a cubrir para no generar parches de maquillaje, también a no romper con la costumbre de revisar los productos, además debo practicar dibujar nubes. 🤣 ☁️
