Hace unos meses comencé una serie de post donde me maquillaba como cada una de las Sailor Scouts, todo empezó con Sailor Mercury, seguí con otras muchas más pero por mero auto sabotaje lo deje, quiero volver a retomarlo y por eso estamos en ello pero me he olvidado presentar a la Sailor de este post.
Podría dar pie a este post comentandoles que este personaje viene de una serie japonesa llamada "Sailor Moon" dónde podemos ver al personaje en el cual me inspiré para hacer este maquillaje, podría decirles que es una peleadora innata, se ha entrenado en artes marciales para estar preparada para cualquier situación, es la Sailor Jupiter, controla el trueno, es una de las Sailor Scouts, su papel en este grupo es muy importante, siempre sirve para neutralizar problemas, entender a los demás y dar una mano amiga, aunque le cueste recibir ayuda con el paso del tiempo ha descubierto que mientras tenga a sus amigas siempre habrá una solución. Elegí hacer un maquillaje basado en ella, apartando el hecho de que era la siguiente en la lista, también es porque es una de mis preferidas, así que vamos a ver el proceso de este maquillaje.
A few months ago I started a series of posts where I put on makeup like each of the Sailor Scouts, it all started with Sailor Mercury, I continued with many more but for mere self-sabotage I left it, I want to take it up again and that is why we are working on it but I have forgotten to introduce the Sailor of this post.
I could give rise to this post telling you that this character comes from a Japanese series called "Sailor Moon" where we can see the character in which I was inspired to do this makeup, I could tell you that she is an innate fighter, she has trained in martial arts to be prepared for any situation, she is Sailor Jupiter, she controls thunder, she is one of the Sailor Scouts, her role in this group is very important, she always serves to neutralize problems, understand others and lend a helping hand, even if it costs her receiving help over time she has discovered that as long as she has her friends there will always be a solution. I chose to do a makeup based on her, aside from the fact that she was the next on the list, it's also because she's one of my favorites, so let's see the process of this makeup.
Quiero confesar que me sentí muy extraña al maquillarme de nuevo, tenía un largo rato sin hacerlo, eso no me quito las ganas de volver a intentarlo una vez más, me apliqué la sombra verde por todo el párpado móvil y fui difuminandola lo mejor posible, sin que quedarán ningún lado sin maquillar o que no se viese homogéneo; con lo que tuve un pequeño conflicto fue el hacerme el delineado, me equivoqué muchas veces antes de hacerlo en este maquillaje, me hice un delineado muy sencillo para empezar, quise arriesgarme haciéndome tres líneas arriba del ojo y eso me llevo a hacerme un delineado paralelo al que ya tenía, le hice un pequeño pico y una forma que se viese cómo la cuenca de mi ojo; fue todo un reto pero estoy feliz de haberlo cumplido.
I want to confess that I felt very strange when putting on makeup again, I had a long time without doing it, that didn't stop me from trying it once again, I applied the green eyeshadow all over my mobile eyelid and blended it as best as possible, without leaving any side without make-up or that does not look homogeneous; I had a little conflict was doing the eyeliner, I was wrong many times before doing it in this makeup, I did a very simple eyeliner to start with, I wanted to take a risk by doing three lines above the eye and that led me to do an eyeliner parallel to the one I already had, I made a small beak and a shape that looked like my eye socket; It was quite a challenge but I am happy to have accomplished it.
Con el paso del tiempo me he dado cuenta que nunca está demás un par de pestañas postizas, a menos, en estos casos donde mi meta era que se concentrará la vista en mis ojos, algo que pude lograr, debo decir que si me sentía rara maquillandome, al ponerme unas pestañas postizas me sentí aún más extraña pero fue grato verme nuevamente maquillada y disfrazandome de una de mis personajes preferidos.
With the passage of time I have realized that a pair of false eyelashes is never too much, unless, in these cases where my goal was to concentrate the sight on my eyes, something that I was able to achieve, I must say that if I felt strange putting on some false eyelashes, I felt even stranger but it was nice to see myself wearing makeup again and dressing up as one of my favorite characters.
