We don't celebrate as we did in earlier years.

back in the day bonfire in the back garden fireworks bought at the local corner shop, happy days no health and safety........NOW it is just the odd organised event.

When young we made a bonfire with a straw man built by my uncle who stuffed the odd crackers inside, used to have loads of fun. When children were young once of twice the road we live in used to congregate and set off fireworks, have not seen that now in about thirty year. Traditions are dwindling here from the old land.

dwindling everywhere... to buy fireworks now you have to be 18 yrs old in the uk

Too expensive here, have not bought fireworks in many years....

Nor me, have lost the thrill now.
