So back on the road again, now driving on the correct side of the road, hunting down time capsules.
What a nice looking building right on the road. I could have parked on the drive, but only noobs do daft things like that; even though it meant a half mile walk back once I parked up.

Upstairs the treasure started to appear, and a bathroom too
Life is so much racier when ya keep your thermals handy
One final big room downstairs to have a mooch in, when I walked in I have to be honest I nearly pooped my pants!
Glanced across at the main wall and the clock there was ticking away! AND it was showing the correct time. FUCK!

Lovely adverts in a 1942 edition of Punch, it’s truly amazing some of the stuff folk keep, I’m personally glad they do, I get a glimpse into another world, another time.

Another time capsule, with a pink bathroom! I guess the clock battery has lasted a few years. It does remind me of my partner's grandparents's house that we moved into. They kept so much odd stuff. Got wartime newspapers as well as family stuff.

Love the old 40's and 50's memorabilia, you could pick them up from junk shops when I was a lad. Old books like that, but you never see them now.
